Head of the Olatawura family, Professor Michael Olatawura, who made this known to Saturday Trinbune said the former Supreme Court Justice would be buried on Friday, December 12, 2008 at his home-town , Ikole Ekiti, Ekiti state.
A Christian wake would preceed the burial on Thursday, December 11, 2008.
The late Justice Olatawura died on Friday last week during a battle with asthma at his home in Ikole Ekiti. Encomiums have since been pouring in to commiserate with the Olatawura s family over the loss of their illustrous son.
Meeanwhile, the chairmanship candidate of the Action Congress in Ikole Local government and Assistant National Publicity secretary of Christ s School Alumni Association, Chief Biodun Akin Fasae has also condoled with the family of the late ex Supreme Court Judge, Justice Olajide Olatawura on his demise.
Chief Fasae, while condoling with the Elekole- in- Council and the entire people of Ikole local government, described the late Justice Olatawura as a shining icon on the Bench whose legacies are indelible.
As the National President of Christ s School Alumni in which I am the Assistant Publicity Secretary, we shall greatly miss Justice Olatawura s invaluable contributions to the running of the association, Akin Fasae said


Navy: Naples asthma study ends with inconclusive result By Sandra Jontz, Stars and Stripes

NAPLES, Italy A 20-month study to determine if living in Naples increased the number of asthma sufferers, or increased the severity of the illness, has proved inconclusive, according to a Navy report.
Experts from the Navy and Marine Corps Public Health Center analyzed records of 581 patients who sought treatment at the Navys hospital and clinics in the Naples area to answer these two questions:
n Do asthma symptoms worsen for Navy active duty and family members while living in Naples?
n Are personnel more susceptible to asthma four to six months after arriving in Naples?
The statistical results were inconclusive.
The study did find, however, that the percentage of patients suffering from asthma in Naples is lower than that of the general U.S. population, said Chris Rennix, the lead author
